MATERIALS
- A wooden board with two rows of pits (or holes dug in the ground)
- 48 small seeds, stones, or bottle caps as counters
HOW TO PLAY
1
Set up the board with a row of pits facing each player, each starting with an equal number of seeds.
2
On your turn, scoop all the seeds from one of your own pits and drop them one by one into the following pits going in one direction.
3
If your last seed lands in an opponent's pit that then holds a capturable number of seeds, sweep that pit's contents into your store.
4
Captured seeds are set aside and no longer part of play.
5
Play continues alternating turns until one side's row of pits is completely empty.
6
Whoever has captured the most seeds when the game ends wins.
