- Snowshoes (one pair per runner, or wide flat boards as substitutes)
- Cones or flags marking a course
MEASUREMENTS
Course roughly 50-80ft (15-24m) with a turnaround marker.
HOW TO PLAY
1
Divide players into teams and line each team up behind a starting flag.

The first runner on each team straps on snowshoes and hops or strides to the turnaround marker and back.
3
Runners hand off the snowshoes to the next teammate instead of setting them down.
4
Teammates who are waiting call out encouragement and count the runner's steps aloud.
5
The first team to get every runner through the course wins the round.
