MEASUREMENTS
Field divided into a batting square and a large running area
HOW TO PLAY
1
Split into two teams of eleven; one bats while the other spreads across the open running area.
2
A batter strikes the pitched ball with the bat, then runs to a marked line and back before the fielders can react.
3
Fielders catch the ball and try to get a runner out by hitting them directly with a thrown ball.
4
A batter is also out if their hit ball is caught in the air before touching the ground.
5
Score a run each time a batter completes the full course back to the batting square without being hit.
6
Switch batting and fielding roles after three outs, and total each team's runs to find the winner.
