Nicosia Backgammon Blitz

Set up checkers in the standard starting arrangement on the board.

Each turn, roll both dice and move checkers forward according to the numbers shown, either as one piece or split between two.

A point held by two or more checkers of the same color blocks the opponent, while a single exposed checker can be sent to the bar if landed on.

A checker sent to the bar must re-enter the board before any other move is made that turn.

Play at a brisk pace with a short time limit per turn; the first player to bear off all their checkers wins.
