Newari Indra Jatra Mask Freeze

Explain that Indra Jatra features masked dancers performing dramatic poses through Kathmandu's streets.

Each player wears or holds a simple mask and moves freely around the space while the music plays.

When the music stops, everyone must freeze in a dramatic, larger-than-life pose, as if mid-performance.

The caller inspects poses and taps out anyone who moves or breaks their pose before the music restarts.

Restart the music and repeat, encouraging bigger and more theatrical poses each round.

The last player still striking dramatic freezes wins.
