New Year's Resolution Auction

Write a set of funny or ambitious resolutions on individual cards.

Give each guest an equal amount of play money to bid with.

Auction off each resolution card one at a time, with guests bidding to "claim" it.

The highest bidder must commit to attempting that resolution in the new year.

Check back in throughout the year to see who followed through.
