MATERIALS
- Small stones or shells
- A bucket per team
- Cones marking a course
HOW TO PLAY
1
Scatter stones or shells representing clams across the sandy or grassy play area.
2
Teams line up with an empty bucket at the start of the course.
3
One player at a time runs out, digs up a clam, and drops it in the team bucket.
4
Runners must return and tag the next teammate before that player can go digging.
5
When time runs out, the team with the most clams in its bucket wins.
