HOW TO PLAY
1
Deal four cards to each player and form two teams of partners sitting opposite each other.
2
Players use secret hand signals to silently communicate hand strength to their partner across the table.
3
In turn, each player may discard some or all cards and draw replacements once both teams agree to the exchange, or a team may choose to skip the exchange.
4
Teams then bid confidently or fold on a series of categories: grande for high cards, chica for low cards, pares for matching pairs, and juego for a strong point total.
5
Whichever team wins each category collects points, betting more or less based on their partner's signaled hand.
6
The first team to reach the agreed target score, commonly 30 or 40 points, wins the match.
