Mother May I?

One player is chosen as "Mother" and stands facing the group from a distance.

Each player in turn asks permission for a movement, such as "Mother, may I take three giant steps?"

Mother grants, denies, or modifies the request; players may only move after saying "Mother, may I?" and hearing yes.

Any player who moves without asking, or forgets the phrase, is sent back to the starting line.

The first player to reach and tag Mother becomes the new Mother for the next round.
