MATERIALS
- A hobby horse or broomstick horse per runner
- Cones marking a winding course
HOW TO PLAY
1
Each runner straddles a broomstick or hobby horse before the race begins.
2
On the signal, runners gallop through a winding cone course, weaving between each marker without knocking one over.
3
A runner who knocks over a cone must stop, reset it, and continue from that point.
4
The runner hands off the hobby horse to the next teammate once back at the start.
5
The first team to send every rider through the course cleanly wins the relay.
