MATERIALS
- Smooth wooden darts with a rounded, tapered shape
- A long, cleared lane of packed earth or grass
MEASUREMENTS
Lane roughly 20-30m long.
HOW TO PLAY
1
Mark a long, smooth lane where the dart can be slid without obstruction.
2
Each player throws their dart low and hard along the ground so it skips and slides rather than flies through the air.
3
The goal is to send the dart traveling the farthest distance down the lane before it stops.
4
Measure each throw's stopping point and mark it clearly before the next player takes their turn.
5
After everyone has thrown the agreed number of rounds, the player whose dart traveled farthest overall wins.
