Players form a circle holding hands, with one player standing in the center representing the sun.

The circle moves around while singing the traditional verses that name the center player's role.

On a cued line in the song, the center player chases outward and tries to tag someone in the circle.

The tagged player becomes the new center player for the next round.

The song and circle motion restart, keeping the game moving from player to player.
