Scatter the small jacks across a flat surface in front of you.

Toss the ball into the air with one hand and, before it lands, use the same hand to scoop up a set number of jacks from the ground.

Catch the ball after one bounce, or before it bounces in harder versions, while still holding the scooped jacks.

Increase the number of jacks scooped per toss with each successful round, moving from one at a time up to larger handfuls.

If you fail to scoop the right number or drop the ball, your turn ends and passes to the next player.

The first player to complete the full sequence of rounds without a mistake wins the game.
