Players agree on family roles to play, such as parent, child, or visitor, and gather pretend cooking props.

A play kitchen area is set up using stones, tin lids, and leaves to stand in for pots and food.

Players act out daily household scenes, from cooking to greeting guests, using improvised dialogue.

Roles can be swapped partway through so everyone gets a turn at different characters.

The scene continues loosely until the players decide to start a new pretend story or end the session.
