Mäxchen (Meiern)
- Two six-sided dice
- A cup to shake and hide the dice
The first player shakes the two dice under the cup, peeks at the result without showing anyone, then announces a value out loud.
Read the dice as a two-digit number with the higher die first, so a 6 and a 2 is called "62"; a 2 paired with a 1, called "Mäxchen," beats every other roll.
Pass the cup, unopened, to the next player, who must either believe the announced value or lift the cup to check it.
If the next player believes it, they reroll and must announce an equal or higher value than the one just called, continuing the chain.
If a player instead lifts the cup and the previous announcement was true, the checker loses a life (or point); if it was a bluff, the announcer loses a life instead.
Keep playing until only one player still has lives remaining, who wins the game.
