HOW TO PLAY
1
On Easter Monday, boys and men visit the homes of girls and women they know.
2
At the door, the visitor recites a short traditional rhyme asking permission to "sprinkle" the household's flowers.
3
The visitor then lightly sprinkles a little scented water or perfume on the hands or hair of each woman present.
4
In exchange, the household gives the visitor a hand-painted egg, chocolate, or a small drink.
5
Visitors continue on to the next house, often collecting eggs from several homes over the course of the day.
