- A lezim, a wooden handle strung with a small chain of jingling metal discs
HOW TO PLAY

Hold the lezim's handles, one in each hand, with the chain of jingling discs stretched between them.

Stretch and snap the chain taut in rhythm, producing a sharp jingling sound on each beat.

Step forward, back, and to the sides in a set footwork pattern timed to the jingling rhythm.
4
Synchronize your steps and snaps with the rest of the group performing alongside you.
5
Increase the pace as the group's caller or drummer speeds up the beat.
6
Finish the routine together on a final strong snap of the chain.
