Le Chat Perché

Before starting, agree on which raised surfaces count as safe perches, such as benches, steps, or low walls.

Choose one player to be the chaser, who counts to ten while everyone else scatters.

Players are only safe from being tagged while both feet are off the ground on an agreed perch.

The chaser tries to tag anyone standing on the ground, forcing players to dash between perches.

A tagged player becomes the new chaser, and the game continues with everyone scrambling for the next safe spot.
