Split into a batting team and a fielding team, with the batting team lined up at the home area.

A fielding player pitches the ball underhand to the batter, who tries to hit it into the field.

After a hit, the batter sprints to the far line and back before the fielding team can retrieve the ball and hit them with a thrown ball while running.

A batter who reaches the far line and returns safely without being hit scores a point for their team.

Fielders may also record an out by catching a hit ball before it touches the ground.

Switch team roles after all batters are out or an agreed number of rounds pass, and the team with more points wins.
