Laoying Zhuo Xiaoji (Eagle Catches the Chicks)

Choose one player to be the 'eagle' and another to be the 'hen'; the rest line up in a single-file chain behind the hen, each holding the waist of the player in front.

The hen spreads her arms to block the eagle from reaching the chicks in the line.

The eagle tries to dart around the hen and tag the last player in the chain (the smallest 'chick').

The chain must move together, swinging and shifting to keep the hen between the eagle and the last chick.

Once the eagle tags the last chick, that chick is out or becomes the new eagle, and the game continues with a shorter chain.

The round ends when only the hen and eagle remain, or after all chicks have been caught.
