Laoying Zhuo Xiaoji

One player is the eagle, one player is the mother hen, and the rest line up behind the hen holding the waist or shoulders of the player in front to form a chain of chicks.

The eagle tries to tag the last chick in the line while the hen spreads her arms and moves to block the eagle's path.

The whole chick line must move together, swinging and turning to keep the hen between the eagle and the last chick.

If the chain breaks apart, all players freeze until it is reconnected before play continues.

A tagged chick either leaves the line or swaps roles with the eagle, depending on the version being played, and the chase resumes.
