La Cebollita

Choose a strong player to be the "gardener" who holds firmly onto a post or tree.

The rest of the players form a line behind the gardener, each gripping the waist of the person in front like onions on a stalk.

One player outside the line is the picker who tries to pull children off the end of the chain.

The chain sways side to side to protect the last few players from being grabbed.

Any player pulled free is out and steps aside to watch.

Play continues until only the gardener and a few onions remain unpicked.
