La Balle Assise

Mark a play area and have all players start standing inside it while one or two throwers begin outside with the ball.

Throwers try to hit standing players below the shoulders to get them out.

A player who is hit sits down immediately at the exact spot where they were tagged, rather than leaving the area.

Seated players may not move their feet but can still catch or swat the ball to tag nearby standing players.

Standing players must dodge both the outside throwers and any seated players near them.

The last player still standing wins and becomes a thrower for the next round.
