HOW TO PLAY
1
Explain that a fareej is a traditional Kuwaiti neighborhood of narrow alleys where children once played chasing games.
2
Mark out several narrow parallel lanes with chalk or cones to represent alleyways.
3
Choose one player as the seeker, who must stay within the marked lanes while chasing.
4
Everyone else can duck between lanes through open "doorway" gaps left in the marks, but the seeker must stick to the lane paths.
5
A tagged player becomes the new seeker, and the round restarts from fixed starting points.
6
Rotate who sets the lane layout each round to keep the maze fresh.
