MATERIALS
- A soft mat or grassy area
- A kurash jacket or sturdy belt (optional)
HOW TO PLAY
1
Two competitors face each other and grip each other's jacket or belt at the shoulders before the match begins.
2
On the signal, each wrestler tries to throw their opponent off balance and onto their back using only upper-body grips, without striking or grabbing legs.
3
A clean throw that lands the opponent flat on their back scores an immediate win; smaller throws earn partial points.
4
Stepping outside the marked circle or attacking below the belt results in a caution or point penalty.
5
The match ends when one wrestler scores a full point throw, or when the time limit expires with the higher score declared winner.
