Krampuslauf

Choose a few players to dress up as Krampus, the horned companion who playfully chases mischief-makers, while everyone else forms the fleeing crowd.

Krampus players ring bells or bang noisemakers loudly to announce the start of the chase.

The crowd scatters and runs through the play area, trying to avoid the Krampus players.

A Krampus player who taps a runner with a soft switch or ribbon "catches" them, and that runner joins the Krampus side.

Continue until most or all runners have been caught, then reset with new Krampus players for another round.

Wrap up the game by handing out small treats to everyone, as St. Nicholas traditionally does the following morning.
