PLAYERS
8, two mixed teams of four
DIFFICULTY
SETTING
Both
MATERIALS
- Ball similar in size to a basketball
- Two elevated basket posts (korfs)
MEASUREMENTS
Court about 40m x 20m with a basket-topped post roughly 3.5m high at each end
HOW TO PLAY
1
Form two teams of four men and four women, each split into an attacking half and a defending half of the court.
2
Attackers try to score by tossing the ball into the open-topped basket at their end.
3
Defenders may only guard a player of the same gender, and never block a shot from very close range.
4
Players cannot dribble the ball or take more than a step or two while holding it.
5
After a set number of goals, swap the attacking and defending zones so both halves of each team get a turn scoring.
6
Count one point per successful basket; the team with more points when time expires wins.
