- A saddled horse for each rider
- A weighted goat-hide dummy (or a padded substitute for casual play)
HOW TO PLAY

Two mounted teams gather at the center of a large open field around the weighted dummy.

At the signal, riders compete to lift the dummy from the ground while staying mounted, using strength and balance.

A rider who gains control gallops toward their team's scoring area while opponents give chase and try to wrestle the dummy away.

A point is scored when a rider successfully drops the dummy into their own team's marked scoring circle.
5
Play continues to an agreed number of points or a set time limit, with riders switching direction of attack each round.
