- A weighted wooden or resin throwing ball called a kloot
- A long open path or field
MEASUREMENTS
Throwing course typically spans several hundred meters along a road or field
HOW TO PLAY
1
Mark a starting line at one end of the long course.
2
Take a running approach and throw the kloot underhand as far down the course as possible, aiming for both distance and a straight line.
3
Mark where your throw lands with a small flag or stake.
4
The next player throws from where their own previous throw landed, continuing to advance along the course.
5
Count the number of throws each player needs to cover the full course length.
6
The player who completes the course in the fewest total throws wins the round.
