Draw a course of numbered squares on the pavement with chalk, including some paired side-by-side squares.

Toss your marker onto the first square, then hop through the course, always skipping the square where it landed.

Land on one foot for single squares and both feet for paired squares, without touching any chalk lines.

Turn around at the far end and hop back, pausing on the square before the marker to pick it up.

Advance the toss one square further each turn, and a missed hop or stepped line hands the turn to the next player.
