Kitsune-Ken (Japanese Fox Fist Game)

Both players kneel or sit facing each other for the hand gesture round.

On a shared count, each player forms one of three gestures with their hands: a fox, a hunter, or a village headman.

The fox beats the headman, the headman beats the hunter, and the hunter beats the fox.

Matching gestures result in a tie and the round is replayed.

Score a point for each round won, and keep a running tally across many quick rounds.

The first player to reach an agreed point total wins the match.
