Choose one player as the chaser and designate a central post or tree as the safe home base.

The other players cluster around the base, only safe from tagging while touching it.

Players dash away from the base to taunt the chaser and must sprint back before being tagged.

The chaser tries to tag anyone caught away from the base, and a tagged player becomes the next chaser.

Only one player at a time may cling to the base for very long before being urged to let go and run.
