MATERIALS
- A carved board with four rows of pits
- 64 small seeds or stones
HOW TO PLAY
1
Set up the board with an agreed starting arrangement of seeds in the front two rows.
2
On your turn, sow seeds one at a time counterclockwise from a chosen pit around the rows.
3
Landing your last seed in an opponent's pit that then holds an even number captures those seeds.
4
Captured seeds are removed from the board and set aside as points.
5
Play continues until a side cannot move; the player with the most captured seeds wins.
