MATERIALS
- 9 wooden pins
- A wooden ball without finger holes
HOW TO PLAY
1
Set the nine pins upright in a diamond arrangement at the end of a narrow wooden lane.
2
Each player rolls the ball down the lane by hand, trying to knock down as many pins as possible.
3
Players usually get a fixed number of rolls per turn, with the pins reset between turns or left standing depending on the house variation chosen.
4
Special shots, such as knocking down all nine pins in one roll, may earn bonus points under agreed local rules.
5
Scores are tallied across several rounds, and the player with the highest total when play ends wins.
