Kazakh Dombra Pluck Echo

Explain that the dombra is a two-stringed instrument central to Kazakh folk music and storytelling.

One player, the musician, plays or claps a short simple tune of four to six sounds.

The next player must repeat the exact tune back before adding one new sound of their own.

Play passes around the circle, with each player repeating the whole growing tune before adding to it.

Anyone who repeats the tune incorrectly is out, and the tune resets to the last correct version.

The last player remaining, or the one who built the longest correct tune, wins.
