HOW TO PLAY
1
Two teams line up facing each other on opposite ends of a rectangular field, with several 'catchers' standing in the middle strip.

Players from the end teams take turns sprinting across the middle strip to reach the opposite side without being tagged.

Catchers in the middle try to tag runners as they cross; anyone tagged joins the catchers for the next round.

A round ends when all runners from one side have either crossed safely or been tagged.
5
The game continues, with the pool of catchers growing, until only a few fast runners remain uncaught.
