Kanamachi (Blind Fly)
- A blindfold or cloth strip
- An open space cleared of obstacles
One player is blindfolded and spun around gently a few times to disorient them slightly before the round begins.
The other players join hands and circle around the blindfolded player, chanting a traditional rhyme and clapping to guide the blindfolded player toward them by sound.
The circling players may lean close, tap the ground, or clap sharply near the blindfolded player to tease them, but must dodge away before being caught.
When the blindfolded player catches someone, they must identify who it is by touching the person's hair, clothing, or face while the caught player stays silent or disguises their voice.
If the guess is correct, the caught player becomes the new blindfolded catcher for the next round.
If the guess is wrong, the blindfolded player continues chasing until they catch and correctly identify someone else.
