HOW TO PLAY
1
Each competitor gets a set amount of time, such as sixty to ninety seconds, to perform a freestyle jump rope routine.
2
Competitors combine basic jumps with tricks such as crossovers, double-unders, and footwork changes.
3
Judges score routines on difficulty of tricks, rhythm, and how few times the rope catches on the feet.
4
A caught rope pauses the routine, and the competitor restarts jumping as quickly as possible without extra time.
5
Competitors may use music to time their routine and add style points for matching the beat.
6
The competitor with the highest combined score for difficulty and execution is declared the winner.
