MEASUREMENTS
Pitch about 15-20m long with a peg planted at each end
HOW TO PLAY
1
Take turns throwing wooden pins end over end, aiming to land them as close to the target peg as possible.
2
Each side throws all of its pins before distances to the peg are measured.
3
Score a point for every pin that lands closer to the peg than the opponent's closest pin.
4
A pin that comes to rest touching the peg without knocking it over earns bonus points in most rule sets.
5
Switch throwing ends each round; the first side to reach the agreed winning score wins the match.
