Jamaican Mento Porch Freeze Dance

Everyone dances loosely to the lighthearted music, keeping a bouncy porch-party energy.

The music leader randomly pauses the song at unpredictable moments.

When the music stops, dancers freeze completely, including facial expressions.

The leader walks through pointing out any wobbles or giggles that break the freeze, and those players step aside.

Keep playing rounds with shorter clips of music until one dancer remains standing.
