Isaan Mor Lam Call and Response

Explain that Mor Lam is a folk singing tradition built on playful call-and-response verses.

One player, the caller, sings or chants a short rhyming line about anything silly or topical.

The group must respond in unison with a matching rhythm, either echoing the line or completing the rhyme.

The caller role passes clockwise after each exchange, and the new caller must top the previous line.

Players who hesitate too long or break the rhythm lose a point.

Keep a running tally and crown the most inventive caller at the end.
