PLAYERS

DIFFICULTY
SETTING
Both
MATERIALS
- A large wooden board with four rows of pits
- Roughly 64 small seeds or pebbles
HOW TO PLAY
1
Each player controls the two rows of pits nearest to them and begins with seeds loaded across those pits.
2
On a turn, pick up all the seeds in one pit and sow them one by one into the following pits in a set direction.
3
If your last sown seed lands in an opponent's pit and brings its count to two or three, you capture those seeds.
4
Skilled players plan several moves ahead to set up big multi-pit captures later in the game.
5
Once neither side can make a legal move, whoever has captured the most seeds is the winner.
