HOW TO PLAY

Form a circle or curving line by holding hands or hooking little fingers with your neighbors.

Follow the lead dancer at one end, who chooses the direction and adds small variations to the step pattern.

Move sideways around the circle using the basic step: a few steps in one direction followed by a step or two back, matched to the beat.

Watch the dancers just ahead of you to pick up any variations the leader introduces.

Keep the circle unbroken as it winds and curves, speeding up as the music builds.
6
New dancers can join by linking into the line at either end at any point in the dance.
