HOW TO PLAY
1
Each crew boards its long narrow boat and takes up a paddle at an assigned seat.
2
Crews line up their boats side by side at the starting point on the water.
3
On the starting signal, every paddler strokes in unison, following the rhythm set by the crew's caller at the bow or stern.
4
Keep strokes synchronized to drive the narrow boat forward in a straight line and avoid tipping.
5
Steer around any marked turns in the course while maintaining the paddling rhythm.
6
The first boat to cross the finish line with its full crew aboard wins the race.
