HOW TO PLAY
1
Mark out a wide corral area at one side of the playing space to represent home ground.
2
Choose one or two players to act as herders, while the rest of the group scatters across the open field as the herd.
3
On a signal, the herders try to tag members of the herd and guide them back toward the corral.
4
A tagged player must walk calmly with the herder to the corral and stay there for the rest of the round.
5
Herd members try to dodge and dash past the herders without being tagged, weaving to avoid capture.
6
The round ends once every herd member has been tagged and corralled, and new herders are chosen for the next round.
