MATERIALS
- A grid of two rows by six columns drawn or scratched into the ground
- 12 stones or seeds per player in two distinguishable types
HOW TO PLAY
1
Set up each player's twelve stones filling their own row, facing the opponent's row directly across the grid.
2
On your turn, move one stone forward, sideways, or into any open square within the grid, one step at a time.
3
Capture an opposing stone by moving one of your stones so it sits directly between two of your own stones in a straight line, front or back.
4
A captured stone is removed from the board immediately and takes no further part in the game.
5
Continue trading moves and captures until one player has too few stones left to threaten the other.
6
The player with more stones remaining once neither side can make further captures is the winner.
