Hanetsuki

Stand facing your opponent a few steps apart, each holding a paddle.

Hit the shuttlecock back and forth using the flat face of the paddle, keeping it from touching the ground.

Score a point against your opponent whenever their return causes the shuttlecock to hit the ground.

Take turns serving the shuttlecock to start each new rally.

Agree beforehand whether the game is cooperative, aiming for the longest rally, or competitive, aiming to score points.

Whoever reaches the agreed target score first, or the pair that reaches the longest rally streak, wins the round.
