Haida Totem Story Pole Relay

Give each team a cardboard pole and a stack of animal symbol cutouts.

One player at a time runs to a supply table, grabs a symbol, and tapes it onto the team's pole in order.

Once a symbol is added, the runner tags the next teammate before returning to the line.

Continue until every symbol has been placed on the pole from bottom to top.

When a team's pole is complete, they take turns telling a short made-up story linking the stacked symbols together.
