MATERIALS
- A grid board, often a Go board
- Black and white stones or two colors of markers
MEASUREMENTS
Typically played on a 15x15 or 19x19 intersection grid.
HOW TO PLAY
1
Players take turns placing one stone of their color on any empty intersection of the grid.
2
Stones are never moved or removed once placed.
3
The goal is to be the first to arrange five of your own stones in an unbroken row, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
4
Watch your opponent's stones each turn and block any row of four before it becomes five.
5
If the entire board fills with no five-in-a-row achieved, the game is declared a draw.
6
The first player to complete an unbroken line of five stones wins immediately.
