MATERIALS
- Cross-shaped race board
- Four pegs per player in a distinct color
- One die or spinning top
HOW TO PLAY
1
Each player places their four pegs in their own starting yard at one arm of the cross-shaped board.
2
Players take turns rolling the die or spinning the top and move one peg forward around the shared outer track by that many spaces.
3
A specific roll is usually required to release a peg from the starting yard onto the main track.
4
Landing exactly on a space occupied by an opponent's peg sends that peg back to its owner's starting yard.
5
Once a peg completes a full lap around the shared track, it turns up the player's own home stretch toward the finish squares.
6
The first player to bring all four of their pegs safely into their home squares wins the game.
